In a message posted in the "Welcome to the Outpost" forum, I stated the 2 main rules of this board, the first is that the Rules of Proboards apply and the second is that the Rules of Netiquette apply. Basically I stated these two rules are a simple breakdown of the rules for "The Outpost". As long as a member doesn't get out of hand, those two rules cover what is expected here... sort of.
It is my belief that every forum and message board ought to have their rules and policies spelled out in as simple of a way as is humanly possible. The posting of these guidelines not only informs the member about the rules and policies, but they also act as a way to remind the Admins and Moderators of the rules as well. The following rules are the ones we are most concerned with, where the board is concerned. I will post them in reverse order of importance, as a top ten list is given, to help ease the pain.
12. Pay attention to "extra-rules" for the individual forums, which will be listed as "Sticky Threads" in the forums to which they pertain to.
11. No Posting of Pornography, Nudity or other Questionable Material unless pre-approved by the forum rules.
10. Double logins (multiple accounts) are prohibited, unless approval by Outlooker is given in advanced.
9. Do not post items which are copyright or trademark violations.
8. No Spamming or Commercial Ads
7. Never re-post something a moderator has deleted, or edited.
6. Do not circumvent a Ban Order.
5. No abusive, harassing or threatening posts.
4. Do not post any member's personal information.
3. Do not make personally directed attacks on any other user.
2. Do not post items considered as "Hate Speech".
and the Number 1 Rule of the forum!!!
